New gift ideas: birds, angels and coasters

While all my usual craft fairs and exhibitions have been cancelled, I have been busy making pieces ready for when we can show our work to the public again. My stocks of small items, like Quirky Birds, angels and coasters, were running low.

To keep you safe during the coronavirus restrictions, I am offering free delivery direct to your door on these small items throughout June. There is also an option to send to a different address during the purchase process if you want to send an item directly to someone else.

The Quirky Birds have been particularly popular in the online shop, so I have hatched lots of new ones, in a range of colours. Each one has its own personality and, if you look in the shop, you will see they all have names and a back story. Of course, if you purchase one, you are welcome to rename it!

Each Quirky Bird is an individual in its own right, but there are some that make perfect pairs, being made from the same colours for their bodies and beaks. All of them have little wire feet, so they can perch anywhere happily. Each has its own unique plumage, too.

Guardian angels

My stained glass angels are always popular sellers at Christmas, but also sell well through the rest of the year. It appears everyone likes a guardian angel to watch over them, or they are bought as a gift for a loved one. I know people have also purchased them to remember parents or other relatives who have passed away. Just add a ribbon or decorative cord and hang them straight away.

I have made some one-of-a-kind square coasters too, in some lovely, rich coloured glasses. These make a great, artistic and practical present and every one is unique. The glass is framed with an organic bud design made from wire and solder. Felt feet on the back prevent scratches to surfaces.

Why not visit the website shop now? Remember there is free postage on all small items for the month of June too!
