Art events postponed or cancelled because of Covid-19

Unfortunately, as greater controls are placed on movement of people across the UK each day, several art and design events have been cancelled or postponed.

In my case, this means that the March 2020 event at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, with the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen, has been cancelled.

Also, the AppArt art and sculpture trail event, at Godalming in Surrey, will not go ahead in April 2020.

The Garden Show at Stansted Park, Hampshire, which was scheduled for early June 2020, has been postponed to 4th, 5th and 6th September 2020. We all hope that it will go ahead then.

In these difficult times it is important for everyone to protect their health, and that of other people.

However, you can still buy lovely artworks online that can be delivered direct to your door – or to a friend or loved one. I have some new pieces in my website Shop to celebrate Spring and Easter, including new chicks, chickens and decorative eggs. Why not cheer up a friend or relative during these hard days and weeks with a fun piece delivered direct to their door? You’ll also help a small business to keep trading through the uncertainty.

Stay safe, everyone!
