New handmade gifts: Which came first? Chicks, chickens or eggs?

With Spring in the air and daffodils popping up outside, I was inspired to create some new stained glass Easter gift ideas. I can’t remember whether I made the chicks, chickens or eggs first. I think I probably made them all at the same time. So unfortunately I can’t answer that age-old question about chickens and eggs.

If you want an Easter gift that lasts longer than a chocolate egg, perhaps you would like a stained glass chick, chicken or egg? They are guaranteed to be calorie-free and can be posted direct to your door – or to a friend or loved one.

With their little wire feet, the livestock can perch on your window sill, shelf or table. The eggs have wire hangers so they can be suspended in a window or on a wall.

The chicks come in two sizes so you could get a large and small one, or a small one with a chicken to look after it. Or if you fancy poultry keeping on a bigger scale (but without the noisy clucking or mess of real birds), how about buying several to keep one another company? It could be the start of your own flock!

Buy easily through my website shop and have your purchase delivered direct to your door – or to that of a loved one who you may not be able to see in person this Spring or Easter. Whichever character you choose, these fun gift ideas will be sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face.
