Buy art and craft at Sir Harold Hillier gardens in Hampshire

If you are looking for a great day out in Hampshire this summer, why not visit the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey? This August, there is a bonus to a stroll around the beautiful grounds and arboretum, as you can also browse the original art and craft on show in the Visitor Pavilion.

The Visitor Pavilion is next to the entrance to the gardens and is free to enter. (There is a charge to enter the gardens).

I’ll be exhibiting my stained glass alongside the skilled work of 12 other members of the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen, between 5 and 15 August 2021 (10am-5pm every day – closes at 3pm on the final day). Each artist makes unique art and craft, so there is sure to be something that tempts you.

I shall be exhibiting and selling a selection of unique, stained glass gifts and homewares. Products include wall art, fun framed pictures, light catchers, decorated vases, sculptures, coasters and jewellery. Themes range from abstract to the animal kingdom, plus nature, little houses and boats. Choose from cats, owls, fish, fantasy birds, mystical mushrooms, moon-gazing hares, wolves, mice and chillis. Treat yourself or buy a special gift!

Every one-of-a-kind piece is individually designed and made by hand from carefully selected, beautiful stained glass.

As well as stained glass items, browse the work of the other talented craftspeople, including accomplished textile art, Harris Tweed bags, pottery, ceramic sculpture, basketmaking, pen making, leather work, plus a variety of original paintings and drawings.

Different members will be present each day to assist with questions and payments. There will be plenty of room to browse the display tables safely. I’ll be attending on the final day (15th) and it would be great to see you there!

The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens boast 180 acres stocked with specimen trees and shrubs from around the world. They are designed to provide year-round interest, so there is something outstanding to see whenever you visit.

There are lots of areas designed for children to explore, picnic tables, plus a cafe and the plant centre, so there is plenty to see that will give you a great day out in Hampshire.

Do head to the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens this August and support creative people, who have been unable to show off their work in physical venues for so long.
