In my last blog I promised some new designs and products for this year’s Christmas events, so here is a little preview of what you’ll find on my stall. There are some wintry characters, colourful hanging decorations and a few pieces for those who prefer something a little less seasonal. These new designs will be shown for the first time and available to buy at the three events I am attending in November and December (fair details below).

First, there are some small characters with plenty of personality. The black cats sit beneath arching flower stems, with wide eyes and whiskers giving them rather surprised expressions. The blue and green glass flowers add a splash of colour above their heads. If you know someone who loves cats, these might be worth a look! Perfect for someone who likes tiny sculptures or who hasn’t got much space for display!

For a more Christmassy feel, there are penguin sculptures in different sizes and polar bears with their noses lifted in the air. These designs also come in hanging versions for your tree or to hang from a handle or hook. There is also a good crop of glass mistletoe, featuring rounded, clear glass berries, for those looking for a handmade festive decoration and perhaps the chance of a kiss! New tea light holders range from the minimalist trees to gothic window-inspired and pointed abstract. Each comes with an LED candle effect tea light.

Not everything is about Christmas, though. The little houses and trees bring together coloured roofs, pale walls and branching details in miniature scenes. These could sit happily on a shelf or windowsill long after the Christmas decorations have been packed away. Each piece is available to buy individually – or why not create a mini village?

The hanging designs include lots of new leaves in coloured textured glass – each one unique and available in different sizes. For something rather more dramatic, there are mystical dragons and mythical creatures, ravens and hares framed in wire and dotted with beads and marbles, making each a one-of-a-kind delight. They offer a different sort of gift for anyone who enjoys a touch of fantasy. Alongside these I have pretty botanical-inspired light catchers to bring a hint of the outside indoors, plus a cat, a dog and a bird (see images at end of article).

If you’d like to see the colours and details for yourself, you’ll find me at:

Wessex Guild Artisan Fair, Upham Village Hall, Lower Upham: Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026, 10am–4pm each day. Free entry.

Whether you are choosing a Christmas present, adding to your own glass collection or simply coming for a browse, do stop by and say hello. I’m looking forward to sharing these new pieces with you! Do get in touch if there is something particular you want as these artworks are unique and may not be available for long. Not all products will be on show at all events.
