If you’d like to buy your classy, glassy Christmas gifts and decorations in person this year, I am pleased to announce that I am at three lovely venues in November and December. I’ll have some new designs and products to share so it will be worth the visit!

On the weekend of 14 and 15 November I am joining the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen for our second artisan gift fair at Upham Village Hall at Upham in Hampshire. This is conveniently located at the junction of the main Winchester Road and Mortimers Lane and has a free car park and easy access. Twenty members will be in attendance selling beautiful Christmas gifts and decorations, with products ranging from glass to ceramics to textiles to paintings to woodturning to sculpture and jewellery. Open each day from 10am to 5pm. Free entry.

The next week I’ll be in Surrey on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November at the annual Guildford Cathedral Christmas Fair. This is always a great event and bustling with visitors. Refreshments are available to buy to sustain you while you peruse the many stalls selling a vast array of present ideas and handmade items. This event is open from 10am to 4pm each day and there is a small charge of £3 for admission for adults. Parking by the Cathedral is free.

For those of you who can’t face buying Christmas presents until December, I am delighted to say that I have also been invited to take part in another Guildford event. This one is a Christmas Market at the picturesque Weyside Pub down by the river. It takes place on Sunday 6 December from 12-4pm. Other stallholders will be selling a variety of handmade festive gifts and homewares, including art and prints, candles, jewellery, ceramics, macrame and hand knitting, cookie stamps, crochet, printed cushions, plus vintage clothing. The Weyside Pub will also be selling its own chutney, ketchup and biscuits. Why not enjoy a drink or meal in the pub before or after you look at the stalls? The venue is sure to be decked out to get you in the festive spirit and there is a big public car park nearby.
