Butterflies free-standing stained glass panel

This panel is my own unique interpretation, featuring two butterflies flying in a lively curving design reminiscent of the style of the Art Nouveau era. It is made using the traditional copper foil technique made famous by the Tiffany Studios for their world-famous lamps over 100 years ago. The panel uses a range of stained glasses and textures in pinks, lilacs and purples, with bold green for the bodies and 3D interest created with the addition of wire ‘antenna’.

This timeless design would suit modern and period interiors equally well.

The panel is presented in its own black metal stand, making it easy to display in any location in the home. Perfect for a window sill where the sun can shine through it or against a pale wall. A truly stunning one-off piece that changes as the light changes through the day. It measures 46cm wide by 63cm high (including the stand). The stand legs are 14cm deep.
