I am pleased to say that once again I’ll be exhibiting my stained glass artworks with the Wessex Guild of Craftsmen at the stunning Sir Harold Hiller Gardens this June. This venue is the jewel of gardens in Hampshire and extends over 180 acres, with specimen trees and different styles of layout. Add to this the chance to see loads of original art and design by master crafters for free and it is worth making a note of the dates we will be there.
The Guild are showing the work of seven exhibitors in week one, with a different set of exhibitors displaying their work in the second week. I am taking part in the first week, from 22 to 26 June 2023 inclusive (10am-5pm).
The exhibition is set up in the membership building to the left of the entrance kiosk, so you can have a look on your way in and then collect any purchases as you leave later.
This is one of the few events where we have hanging space as well as tables, so I can display wall art that I don’t usually put in exhibitions. As well as these, I’ll be showing everything from jewellery to free-standing panels and – appropriately – garden pieces.
I have restocked my popular dragons (wall hanging and seated) and have a great selection of light catchers in lots of styles and colours. Treat yourself or a loved one to a lovely piece of stained glass art. Each one is lovingly made by hand.
I’ll be in attendance personally on the Saturday (24 June) and Monday (26 June) of the event if you would like to say hello or chat about a commission (large or small).
There will be plenty to see besides my work so if you enjoy quality art and craft, do call in to the exhibition and meet the makers.
Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is at: Ampfield, Nr. Romsey, Hampshire SO51 0QA.
