Large bulbous purple vase

A fine statement piece, this bulbous shaped vase is sure to be a talking point. Its stunning purple-mauve body features a swirl of paler mauve-white glass curving up each side to the slim neck of the piece.  Sitting on its curve are three round-leaved stylised flowers, each hand-cut from a matching purple stained glass and finished with silvery edges to highlight them against the glass behind. Each unique flower has been soldered at a different angle to give a feeling of naturalism and wire stamens with rounded tips add further dimensions to the piece. The whole is completed with lively curves of wire tendrils, again finished with soldered buds, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau era.
