Large iridescent glass snowflake

This beautiful large glass snowflake will be a talking point in any home. Made from two different clear but textured glasses, it glistens like a real snowflake as it catches the light.

The central star section is made from a strongly textured glass, which is surrounded by six points made from 18 small diamonds of iridescent textured glass. It has been carefully handmade using the copper foil technique. Each piece has been cut and wrapped in copper foil before soldering and blacking – a slow and labour-intensive process.

This piece is perfect to hang in a window or from a ceiling. Simply hang it from the wire support or add a ribbon to your desired length.

It is much larger than other snowflake designs you may have seen, with a length across the diagonal of 29cm. Just like real snowflakes, it is a unique design.
