Small Iris Window

This was one of a pair of small panels made for some high windows in a 1950s bungalow. The owner had a coveted oriental picture featuring Mandarin ducks and tall irises on the same wall, so the iris glass design was created to complement this picture. The design was constructed using traditional lead and individually cut glass pieces and features a rich, deep purple for the petals.
