Southampton University is hosting its popular annual Art, Craft and Gift Fayre again on Sunday 24th November 2019 and I’ll be taking part for the first time, alongside several other members of the very talented Wessex Guild of Craftsmen.
There will be over 110 stalls, selling everything you need for the festive season and beyond, from Christmas decorations to beautiful gifts, many of which are unique and handmade.
There will be bespoke jewellery, soap and beauty products, handbags, scarves, pottery, puzzles and paintings, woodcrafts, glass and leather goods, to name just a few.
Do come along and browse the work of the Wessex Guild – we have something different that you won’t find anywhere else and your purchases will be supporting small businesses and artists to keep creating new and innovative work.
Guild members will be selling woven scarves, pens, screen prints, tweed textiles, jewellery, pottery, paintings, turned wood and glass. Come along and meet my stained glass Quirky Birds, owls, cats and even polar bears alongside new Christmas decoration designs.
To keep you going while you shop there will be refreshments and a choice of delicious hot and cold snacks available to purchase throughout the day.
The event is held in the Staff Social Centre (Building 38/40) on the Highfield Campus of Southampton University in University Road (SO17 1BJ) and there will be AA signs giving directions on the day. More information here.
It is open from 10am to 4pm and there is a £2 entrance fee, with children going free. Hope to see you there!
