Since I first designed stained glass chickens, they have been popular with many customers. I have made brown, white and black chickens in the past, which are considered ‘natural’ chicken colours.

However, in celebration of Spring and Easter, I decided to make some more colourful chickens in a rainbow of colours.

Spring always brings a renewed sense of hope, with warmer weather and the bright colours of new leaves and flowers. So, mirroring this positivity, we have a collection of boldly coloured chickens.

These stained glass chickens are available in colours ranging from green to warm purple, and grey to burnt orange. The more regular colours are also available, too, of course.

Each chicken is handmade from beautiful, textured stained glass, using the copper foil technique. All have wire combs and feet, plus yellow beaks and red wattles under the beaks. They are ready to stand on a window sill, table, desk or shelf and make a perfect Easter gift with no calories!
