Vintage stained glass sewing machine sculpture green

What an excellent gift for a sewer or textile artist!

Look at all the details featured in this fabulous stained glass sewing machine sculpture. Star of the show is the green vintage sewing machine in the centre. It has control knobs made from wire, as well as a clear glass cotton reel and thread feeding down to the wire needle. The project in hand is being stitched from a piece of shiny, clear, textured glass.

Next to the sewing machine sits the essential white pin cushion with tiny needles and pins. Above hangs a pair of wire scissors.

The sewing machine is mounted on a rustic wooden block, decorated with delicate wire threaded with a mother-of-pearl button. The round floral glass sun glows overhead, providing the necessary light for a keen stitcher. In addition, a string of white and red hearts represents the love that sewers put into the items they create and the enjoyment they have in making clothes and artworks for friends and family.

This would look stunning stood in a window, the daylight making the rich red colour glow. It could also stand in the sewing room or on a table, shelf or desk.
